Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

(melt then cool for 5 min)

(room temperature)

(I use half semi-sweet & half milk chocolate)

Steps

    Stir together melted butter and sugars in a large bowl.

    Add eggs (one at a time) then stir until combined.

    Stir in vanilla & syrup.

    In a new bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

    Slowly add the flour mixture to the wet mixture

    Add chocolate chips

    Cover bowl and chill in fridge for 30 minutes

    Preheat oven to 350° F

    Line cookie trays with parchment paper

    Place cookie balls on trays

    5 minutes

    Bake for 13-15 minutes, edges should just be turning golden brown

    Let cookies cool for a bit
